How many matching symbols does a win need?

Five reels, three rows and ten fixed paylines shape this fishing game. A bobber, a rod and reel, a dragonfly, a tackle box and the A, K, Q and J cards fill the grid. Wins pay from the leftmost reel, and two matching symbols are the fewest that pay. Three or more money symbols start the main mechanic, a hold-and-respin round in which the grid turns into a fishing net.

Three, four or five Bass scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. The Fisherman Wild then collects fish money values on a 12-slot meter. Every 4th Wild collected adds 10 spins with a collection multiplier that reaches x10 at the 12th. Hold & Spinner gives four respins that reset on each new money symbol and pays the total at the end.

Price tags on Big Bass extras

100x the total bet is the price of each bonus buy, so at A$5 the Free Spins or Hold & Spinner round costs A$500.

A$100 staked is the base for each RTP figure, the share paid back over time. Single sessions can land above or below that share. The version Casiny runs is shown in the game rules.

Before the first reel

From a quiet reel to a fishing net

At Casiny we walk through each step in order, so nothing catches you out.

  1. Pick a bet from A$0.10

A$0.10 is the lowest bet and A$375 the highest, while A$0.20 is the stake the paytable uses. Each round is paid on the bet you place.

  2. Ten lines, left to right

5x3 grid with 10 fixed paylines that pay left to right from the leftmost reel. The fewest symbols that pay is two, so a short run can still win.

  3. Your third Money symbol

3+ SCATTER symbols start Free Spins, and 3+ MONEY symbols start Hold & Spinner. The Multiplier sits in Free Spins, rising to x2, x3 and x10 as Wilds are collected.

  4. When three Bass fish land

3, 4 or 5 SCATTER symbols award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. Wild, the Fisherman, then appears on all reels and collects FISH MONEY values on a 12-slot meter.

  5. Why does A$375 matter?

A$375 is the highest bet allowed, so set your session limit before the first spin. Nobody can tell in advance how a session will end.

Bonus modes and their rules

You will know how each mode starts, what happens inside it and where the extra spins come from.

Land 3 Scatters

3/4/5 SCATTER award 10/15/20 spins. Wild (Fisherman) appears on all reels, substitutes for every symbol except SCATTER and MONEY, and collects FISH MONEY values on a 12-slot meter. Every 4th Wild collected retriggers +10 spins, with multipliers x2, x3 and x10 at 4th, 8th and 12th. Maximum 3 retriggers.

Fishing net with filler tiles

3+ MONEY symbols trigger Hold & Spinner. The grid re-skins as a fishing net, and non-MONEY cells become decorative filler tiles. The round starts with 4 respins. Any new MONEY hit resets the respins to 4 and adds its value to the total, paid when respins run out.

Five reels, ten paylines

5 reels x 3 rows with 10 fixed paylines, paying left to right from the leftmost reel. Landing 3+ MONEY symbols starts Hold & Spinner, and 3+ SCATTER symbols start Free Spins.

Demo Mode

Choosing Between a Trial and Real Money

Useful before your first spin, when you want to learn the reels with no money at stake.

At A$0.20 a spin, the demo needs no money and pays nothing. The real game needs a Casiny account, and you must be 18+.

Big Bass – Hold & Spinner cannot promise results

96.07 and 96.09 are long-run averages across very many rounds, and they say nothing about how a single session ends. How often the Hold & Spinner round comes is not known in advance. Each spin is random, so one session can bring several bonus rounds or none, whatever the RTP version.

2 RTP versions sit behind Big Bass – Hold & Spinner. Which one Casiny runs is shown only in the game rules, not on this page, so read them before you play. The two versions differ in their long-run return, so the rules matter.

10,000 times the bet is the ceiling for Big Bass – Hold & Spinner, and reaching it is very rare. A player cannot plan for that moment. The ceiling is a multiple of the bet, so it stays at 10,000 times whatever the stake.
